SUPPORT
DANCE
Your generosity fuels the
Lake Tahoe Dance Collective,
enabling us to present world-class performances and provide exceptional dance education all year long.

For eighteen years, we’ve been bringing world-class performances, accessible education, and creative opportunities to the North Lake Tahoe region. From our intimate studio evenings to breathtaking outdoor performances, your support has helped us showcase the beauty of dance in North Lake Tahoe.

Join our community of supporters today with a tax-deductible donation and leave a lasting impact. Together, we create a vibrant cultural hub for visitors and enrich the lives of our neighbors through the power of dance.

At the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective, support comes in two essential forms: Individual Donations and Business Sponsorships. Both make our performances, education programs, and scholarships possible — but they serve different purposes and carry different IRS considerations.

INDIVIDUAL
DONATIONS
Philanthropic giving with mission-focused benefits
Individual gifts are charitable contributions that support all areas of LTDC — our year-round school, scholarships, the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, Tahoe Nutcracker, and our day-to-day operations. Because the benefits we offer are intentionally structured to protect your tax-deductibility — such as invitations to rehearsals or our annual Donors & Sponsors Reception — the full amount of your gift is generally tax-deductible.

These benefits are designed to deepen your connection to the art and the artists, rather than provide commercial value.
Your support is driven by passion, not perks — and it sustains everything we do.

BUSINESS
SPONSORSHIPS
Marketing support with promotional benefits

Business sponsorships provide critical funding while offering recognition and visibility to companies that want to align with LTDC’s performances and programs.
Because sponsorship benefits have measurable marketing value — such as logo placement, website links, social media recognition, or program ads — the IRS considers sponsorship a form of advertising. The value of these marketing benefits is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution, though it can often be deducted as a business marketing expense (companies should consult their tax advisor).
